This is an exquisite vintage silver marcasite brooch c1920's.

The brooch is very finely detailed, a lovely example of the silversmiths craft with its beautiful open metalwork in back to back heart shapes set with marcasite stones.  It has a rollover safety catch and is stamped with the 835 silver grade which is typical of the era.

It is in excellent condition with no missing stones and measures just shy of 2ins x 1,1/4ins.
