VINTAGE JEWEL BOX
The Vintage Jewel Box has been established since 1992 ( also known as The Jewel Box) selling quality vintage costume jewellery and accessories at most of the major antique and Art Deco fairs around the country.
Everything for sale on our website is a genuine vintage or antique item and therefore may have some slight wear commensurate with age, please bear this in mind when making a purchase. We do not sell new or reproduction items.
We pride ourselves in only selling vintage pieces that we would be happy
to own ourselves so they are only ever in good to excellent condition. We
want you to be happy with your item so we provide a detailed
description noting any obvious flaws and give measurements for wearing length
and depth etc. We do not sell items that are noticibly restored,
altered or have major problems like broken pins or missing stones. All our
items are clean and wearable and jewellery is presented in a quality
gift box. Each item has a condition guideline to
help you make your choice.

CONDITION GUIDELINES
EXCELLENT : A vintage item with very little wear and no obvious flaws. May have an antique patina to the metal. No missing or replaced stones. Little or no loss to enamel or plating. No stains, holes or faded areas.
VERY GOOD : A vintage item with minor wear commensurate with age, ie; Antique patina to the metal, some minor loss of plating or enamel or tiny fleabite to a glass bead, hard to see spot, mark or pulled thread in fabric. Any flaw will be minor and not easily noticeable.
GOOD : A vintage item with age related
wear and/or flaw, ie ; some loss of plating, possible dulling of stones or foil backing, replacement
clasp, possible pulled threads or minor marks etc.
